Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Do you know you can make it? No matter where you are at in your life right now, there’s a way out; there’s a way to victory and success. Visualize that beautiful future that may look impossible now, pray towards it and get to work by persistently taking steps that will lead you there; it will happen.

Success in life begins with vision and vision is pursued by goal-setting and planning. For instance, say an aspiring athlete’s vision is to win an Olympic gold medal. She needs to set goals and have a plan that may look like this; Step 1 – Read the stories of Olympic gold medalists. Step 2 – Join a team and start practicing. Step 3 – Register with the national Olympic committee etc.

What is your vision? To become a kingdom financier? To become an international fashion designer? To win 1 million souls for Christ? To become a bestselling author? To become an inventor? Whatever it is, there are steps to get there. It may look unreachable, but it’s because it hasn’t been broken down into steps; goals.

Look at the creation project. We can learn so much from the God of all wisdom. He didn’t say “Let there be world”. He started with “Let there be light” as today’s verse shows, and continued until the entire project was completed in 6 days. It was a great vision, but it was taken step by step. There was a goal for each day.

Hear in lies one of the biggest secrets of success in life; setting clear-cut goals. No wall or building is impossible to climb where there is a ladder. In the same way, no target is impossible to reach where goals are created. So what are you waiting for, break your project down into manageable bits and start the journey towards outstanding success.
